Officers work cases that make them targets. This service is built to hold as little about you as it can while still confirming you are who you say you are.

What this site collects

Nothing. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts, and no third party code on these pages beyond the web font files. No cookie is set. Your IP address is not recorded by this application.

What registration will collect

When registration opens, an application will ask for your name, rank, agency, state, a personal contact email, and the address you want. Verification is by one of two routes: a code sent to a department email address, or a review of agency credentials you upload.

What is deleted

Once a decision is made on your application, the following are removed from our servers:

What is kept

What is never recorded

Your mail

Mail is delivered and stored on third party infrastructure operated by our mail provider. It is not end to end encrypted. Anyone with lawful access to that provider, or to your account credentials, could read stored messages. Use the service accordingly.

Disclosure

Information is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing under any circumstance. Information may be disclosed where compelled by valid legal process. Because so little is retained, there is little to disclose.

Deletion

You may close your account at any time by writing from your leomail.org address. Closure removes the mailbox and its contents. A hash of the address is retained so it cannot be immediately reissued.

Bot protection

The registration form will use a bot protection service to block automated signups. That service processes connection data under its own privacy policy. It is used for no other purpose.
